Ale (Spring 2006) was a project for both Animation Research & Development and Experimental Animation; basically, I combined the two-character assignment (thirty seconds of dialogue between two characters, enacted) for ARD with experimenting with textures. The catch here is that the two characters are actually enacted through text, so it's all the words that are creating the gestural effect. For this one, I tried to get a strong sense of black & white design with textures, and get some fun text animation going. (See the reel.)
